The answer lies within me and I only need to instrospect myself. If we take a real closer look around the surroundings , we would be able to make out easily that how really we are in love with our country. We neednot go back too far to get the answers, ask yourself, in the past 1year, apart from cursing each other or for that matter the government, the people around us , how much we've done to notice India??
Mumbai Terror attacks happened, we saw it alive and awake 24X7 , thanks to our pro-active media of all sorts, we've criticised the government for all its wrong doings , but this Republic two complete months would be over, what steps on individual levels has been taken by us to ensure that the episode would not be repeated again?? Our government has passed one act and modified the other in a jiffy. But, acts were always there, only the people enstrusted to execute were not "ready to act".
A chairman of a corporate giant does a 7000Cr fraud and forfeit the investors hard earned money . The government comes out to bail out his misgivings, but few executives of one of the most profit making navratna PSU's come out to protest again the injustice meted out to them and gets suspension order in return. The news hungry media turns those employees into villains without knowing the root cause behind the anger.
A honest engineer in a public works department is being tortured to death just because he has not given in to the unjustified demands of a cash hungry minister.
There are not one but hundreds and thousands of such examples to cite the mishappenings in and around us, we may pause for a second, have a look and go back to our work because we need to grow, we need to get ahead of our peers. How many of us are at this point of time ready to leave behind our growing careers and go into the politics? The first and foremost thing most of us want is a raipdly growing career graph with no hinders or obstacles. The day we'll get an oppurtunity to leave this country we'll go wwithout having a second thought. Then from where did we get the right to point our fingers?? As the old saying goes " when you point a finger towards someone else, the rest four of them would be pointed towards you." This Republic Day I would not raise any slogans, nor am I going to watch the processions mutely, I'll just question myself and would put the same question to all of you DO WE REALLY LOVE OUR INDIA??
